Unbroken - Slightly Ruffled - Rising Tides - Like Like Me - Partita

Rising Tides 4 Minutes 6 Seconds
A
duet for a man and a woman.
The costume and the lighting evoke the watery nature of the ocean,
while the movement is both fluid and powerful.  Throughout the
dance there is a sense of reverence or ritual, and of the circular,
perpetual, inexorable nature of the tides.  It builds in a crescendo
like a wave crashing on the beach, before retreating back to whence
it came, no more than a whisper in the sand.

Like Like Me 6 Minutes 32 Seconds
Originally created for a light-hearted Valentine’s Day concert, Like Like Me is a character piece about a couple meeting early in their relationship.  It begins as a solo for the woman, who is full of excited and nervous energy.  The man enters, and the movement changes from quick and quirky, to smooth and sweeping as the two overcome their initial awkwardness.

PARTITA Solo 4 Minutes
“Partita” is a tour de force in choreographic tools.  The first section is vigorous and highly structured.  Watch closely for the theme and variations, each separated by a motif movement.  The second section is based on six poses that have been connected and manipulated to match the A-B-A form of the adagio.
